meet brother luck

Brother Luck is an acclaimed chef, entrepreneur, and hospitality consultant based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. With over two decades of experience, he has built award-winning restaurants from the ground up and dedicated his career to mentoring others and helping hospitality professionals grow sustainable, resilient businesses. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Brother brings real-world insight to his consulting, guiding clients through leadership, strategy, and long-term success in a demanding industry.

Nationally recognized for his appearances on Top Chef, Chopped, and Beat Bobby Flay, Brother has been nominated for a James Beard Award and featured in The New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, The Rachael Ray Show, and The Today Show.

Beyond the kitchen, Brother is open about his mental health journey and the challenges he’s overcome—breaking barriers as a sober chef and as a biracial leader in the culinary world. His powerful memoir, No Lucks Given: Life is Hard but There is Hope, shares his story and continues to inspire others navigating similar struggles.

Today, Brother speaks on stages across the country, addressing large audiences on entrepreneurship, recovery, leadership, and personal growth. He’s supported by his wife, Tina, and together they champion creativity, wellness, and community. Outside of his culinary and consulting work, Brother is also pursuing his passion for music as a DJ—what began as a hobby is now a growing extension of his creative life.

And yes—Brother Luck is his real name.

“Someone thanked me for being consistent. I love that – it sums up what we need to be doing as leaders: Be consistent. Hold yourself accountable to what you say you are and what people expect. A lot of the people who need help are used to being abandoned. When you offer help, be accessible. If you can’t be, say when you are and follow up.”
